Not every project needs the latest top-of-the-line server – but many require stability, performance, and scalability. HPE 10th generation servers are hardware that perfectly strikes this balance. In this category, you'll find dozens of configurations – from the compact DL360 to the capable DL380 and the ML350 tower version. They all share one thing: they are ready for immediate operation but don't limit future expansion.
HPE Gen10 servers are based on Intel Xeon Silver and Gold processors, offering core counts from 8 up to 32 in dual-processor configurations. Standard builds include 32–256 GB of RAM, but most models allow expansion up to 1.5 TB or more. A typical configuration features 2x 480–960 GB SATA SSDs, though many chassis also support larger drive sets – with 8–12 bays for 2.5″ or 3.5″ drives, including options for NVMe. This makes these servers excellent platforms for file systems, office applications, databases, and virtualization environments like Proxmox, VMware, and Hyper-V. Configurations from the DL380 Gen10 series are even suitable for more demanding scenarios: desktop virtualization, containerization, and large-scale data processing.
Every HPE Gen10 server available at Hardware Direct includes essentials for daily operations: dual, redundant hot-plug power supplies (500–800 W), RAID controllers with cache (e.g., P440, P408i-a), and the iLO 5 remote management module – often already equipped with an Advanced license. Additionally, many models come with mounting rails and a complete set of accessories. The hardware is off-lease or recertified, offering an attractive price point while providing you with an enterprise-class platform. Security features, such as Silicon Root of Trust, deliver peace of mind when deploying servers in companies where data protection is a priority. These servers are also fully compatible with current system environments – from Windows Server 2022 and Linux distributions to vSphere 8.
