Every R640 server at Hardware Direct is not a "bare frame", but a complete kit ready for launch. You have iDRAC 9 Enterprise as standard with remote management access, allowing you to install the system, monitor temperatures, reset the server – without physical access.

In the kit you will also find a RAID controller – typically H740P or H730P, depending on version. Plus 2× hot-swap 750W or 1100W power supply, complete set of mounting rails, bezel and 2×1GbE or 2×10GbE ports. In selected configurations you also get 1.6 TB NVMe or 960 GB SATA SSD, and some kits are equipped with S140 controllers or HBA330 for maximum performance.
